altJehlum Post News/Srinagar/ July 27, 2015/ The terrorist attack in Punjab is "eerily similar" to attacks in the border belt of Jammu, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah tweeted on Monday. "Will be very interested to see what emerges about the identity of the terrorists involved in the Gurdaspur attack this morning," tweeted Mr Abdullah after militants stormed a police station in Punjab's Dinanagar town. "The timing of the attack, methodology and location are all eerily similar to attacks in the border belt of Jammu," he said in another tweet. "Where the heck are the bulletproof jackets and helmets?

Their knees are better protected than their heads!" he tweeted. Three to four terrorists in Army uniform entered India at the Hiranagar border in Jammu early this morning and opened fire at a bus before attacking a police station in Punjab's Gurdaspur. Five people have been killed and four injured in the attack. An alert has been sounded all along the border. Agency
