Corrigendum to Notification No. 29 dated: 4.9.2012.

Vide Notification No. 29 dated: 4.9.2012, thirty seven (37) cases of Adhoc/Contractual/Consolidated employees of Power Dev. Department, Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department, Rural Dev. Department, Agriculture Department Technical Education Department, and Health & Med. Education Department, were to be notified for objections. But due to oversight cases of Revenue Department, Education Department, Home (Fire Services) and Home (Prisons) Department, who were not eligible for notification also got published inadvertently.Therefore, in view of above, notification of Adhoc/ Contractual /Consolidated employees of aforesaid departments issued vide No. DC/PS/Misc-46/2012 dated: 4.9.2012, published on 5th of September, 2012, is hereby cancelled as withdrawn. The following thirty seven (37) cases of different departments which have already been found eligible by the Empowered Committee, are notified for objections, if any, from the public in general, to reach the office of Director (Codes) Finance Department (Member-Secretary, Empowered Committee) Civil Sectt. Srinagar, within 15 days from the date of publication of this notification. In the event of non-receipt of objections within the prescribed time period, it shall be presumed that there is no objection against the eligibility of concerned incumbents cleared by Empowered Committee and their names shall be recommended to their Administrative Departments for issuance of formal orders in their favour as per the Act.

    The controversy around Nestle's Maggi noodles has caused panic throughout the nation and it doesn't look like it will die down any time soon.

    After the initial test results by Uttar Pradesh Department of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showed harmful levels of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in Maggi, various states across India and even Bangladesh conducted tests on Maggi to find out whether the food product is safe or not.

    The controversy around Maggi has led to tests being conducted across the country.

    The entire controversy began when the UP FDA last month asked Nestle India to withdraw a batch of Maggi noodles "which were manufactured in February 2014" after it found high levels of added MSG, a taste enhancer, in the noodles and lead beyond permissible limits.
