Mufti revokes re-employment of govt employees |

Jehlum Post News/Jammu/ March 17, 2015/ In a bid to rid the State from the scourge of nepotism and rejuvenate administration, Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today ordered with immediate effect the termination of all those employees granted re-employment by various Government departments.The Chief Minister also ordered that engagements / arrangements made by the different Departments/Public Sector Undertakings/ Boards / Autonomous Bodies under any scheme against any sanctioned posts without any selection procedure, even on Contractual basis, shall also cease to exist with immediate effect.The Chief Minister issued these directions to restore the credibility of the administration, so that it works in a fair and transparent manner.The Chief Minister also ordered that any other engagements / arrangements made by the Departments, PSUs/ Boards/ Autonomous Bodies at their own level shall also be governed by the above instructions of the Government. |

The controversy around Nestle's Maggi noodles has caused panic throughout the nation and it doesn't look like it will die down any time soon.
After the initial test results by Uttar Pradesh Department of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) showed harmful levels of monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in Maggi, various states across India and even Bangladesh conducted tests on Maggi to find out whether the food product is safe or not.
The controversy around Maggi has led to tests being conducted across the country.
The entire controversy began when the UP FDA last month asked Nestle India to withdraw a batch of Maggi noodles "which were manufactured in February 2014" after it found high levels of added MSG, a taste enhancer, in the noodles and lead beyond permissible limits.
